🅿️ Parking & Arrival
Free on-site parking is available. Once you've arrived at the Twisted Oaks car park, make your way to the kiosk with your booking reference to check in. You'll be issued with your wristbands before being directed to the signposted path leading down to Battle Park. We'll be ready to welcome you at reception and get your adventure underway.

☕ Facilities & Amenities
Food & Drink:
Battle Park does not provide food or drinks however Twisted Oaks Bike Park has mobile food providers on site at weekends. We advise to contact Twisted Oaks to find out what vendors they have available before your visit. You are of course welcome to bring your own food and drink with you.

🚻 Toilets & Baby Changing:
Modern toilet facilities are available on site, including accessible toilets and baby changing facilities for families with young children.

♿ Accessibility:

We want everyone to enjoy their visit to Battle Park and are always happy to discuss individual accessibility requirements before you book.

Battle Park is located at the bottom of the Twisted Oaks site. The main (upper) car park is approximately a 5-minute walk from Battle Park and includes a downhill section. While the gradient is not excessive, some visitors may find it challenging.

An alternative lower car park is available, offering a much flatter route to Battle Park. The walk from here is slightly longer, taking approximately 8 minutes.

Several of our activities, including target archery, axe throwing and battle archery, are accessible. However, due to the natural woodland terrain, the field archery trail is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

If you or anyone in your group has accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit. We'll be happy to discuss your needs and recommend the most suitable parking, route and activities to help you get the most from your experience.

🐶 Dogs Welcome:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the site but must be supervised and kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog and help us keep Battle Park enjoyable for everyone. Note that dogs are not permitted in the activity areas or the Woodland Archery Trail.

🌿 Picnic Area
Located beside Battle Park and overlooking the beautiful pond, our shared picnic area is the perfect place to relax before or after your activities. Whether you've brought a packed lunch or picked up refreshments from the Twisted Oaks mobile vendors, it's a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The picnic area is available for all visitors to both Battle Park and Twisted Oaks Bike Park.

⏰ Before You Arrive

👕 What to Wear

Battle Park is an outdoor venue, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather and the activities you've booked.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and closed-toe footwear suitable for uneven ground. We also recommend footwear with good grip and ankle support, particularly if you're taking part in the woodland archery trail.

In warmer weather, don't forget sun cream, a hat and plenty of water. During colder or wet conditions, warm and waterproof clothing is recommended so you can enjoy your visit whatever the weather. Avoid bulky clothing when doing Archery activities, instead opt for multiple layers.

⏰ Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled activity. This allows plenty of time to park, check in at the Twisted Oaks kiosk, complete your digital waiver (if required) and make your way to Battle Park for your safety briefing.

Arriving in good time helps ensure your session starts promptly and allows you to enjoy the full experience.

🌦️ Weather

Battle Park is an outdoor venue and our activities normally continue in light rain, so please check the forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.

In the event of severe weather or conditions that could affect safety, we may need to postpone your activity. We will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date.
